Nimroz Cement Company

In order to continue exports, increase nominal delivery capacity and improve packaging capacity, Zabul Cement Industries Company has launched a cement packaging unit in Nimroz Province, Afghanistan. The project aims to access specialized cement markets, expand Iran’s economic influence beyond political borders and create sustainable interaction with international stakeholders.

In order to maximize production capacity and employment in the subsidiary companies, the project was officially registered and resulted in the establishment of Nimroz Cement Company under the auspices of the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency. The factory was inaugurated in February 2012 in Zaranj, the capital of Nimroz Province, and its focus is on packaging cement in 50-kilogram bags.
Nimroz Company operates in Nimroz Province and neighboring provinces and specializes in producing cement in standard 50-kilogram packaging. The company’s unique geographical location in the region and high competitiveness are among its most important features. It has an effective presence in the Afghan market with a local brand and compliance with the country’s import regulations at the time of launch.
