Zabol Cement Industries Company was established in 2003 and, by constructing the Sistan Cement Factory, it produces clinker
and various types of Portland and pozzolanic cement, utilizing state-of-the-art technology in both production and quality control,
pursuing the highest possible quality and quantity in domestic and foreign markets. The foundation stone for the construction of
the Sistan Cement Factory, located 65 kilometers from the Zahedan-Mashhad road, was laid in April 2006, and the first concrete
pouring took place in August of the same year.

After only 32 months, in November 2009, the factory was on track to be launched, and on May 20, 2008, it was inaugurated and put into operation
in the presence of the esteemed President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This factory, with the existential philosophy
of eliminating some of the deprivations of the people of the region through creating employment, utilizing the human,
natural, and mineral capacities of the province, producing and supplying the cement needed by the region, and creating
a platform for exporting cement to the countries of eastern and southern Iran, has entered the country’s industrial
arena And based on the company’s specific existential vision, the relative advantage of access to rich and high-
quality mines, and the idea of utilizing superior production technologies, it set out to achieve the lofty goal of
flourishing production in the heart of the region’s barren desert and subsequent economic, industrial, and social
growth.

The advanced facilities and modern equipment of the Sistan Cement Factory production line have enabled
the production of various types of cement within the framework of the domestic and international standards
common in this industry, and have also created diverse and variable production capabilities based on market
needs.
