NIMROUZ CEMENT

To sustain its export operations, increase nominal delivery capacity, and
enhance packaging capabilities, Zabol Cement Industries Company
established a cement packing unit in Nimruz Province, Afghanistan.
The project aimed to gain access to specialized cement markets,
extend Iran’s economic influence beyond political borders, and foster
stable engagement with international stakeholders.

To maximize the production and employment capacities developed
across its subsidiaries, the project was officially registered through Arya
Cement, leading to the foundation of Nimruz Cement Company under
the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency. The plant was inaugurated
in February 2013 in Zaranj, the capital of Nimruz Province, with a focus on
packaging cement in 50-kilogram bags.

Nimruz Cement operates in Nimruz and its neighboring provinces,
specializing in the production of cement in standardized 50-kg packaging.
Its unique position in the region and high competitiveness are among its
most distinguishing features. The company’s establishment was aimed
at securing a strong presence in the Afghan market under a local brand,
aligning with Afghanistan’s import regulations at the time of its launch.
